Generating your first travel document

Here is exactly what to expect the first time you create a document with Routepilot.

Step by step

1. Add credits. Open your dashboard and top up your balance. You can read more in Adding credits to your account.
2. Pick a service. Go to Services and choose the one that fits, for example a Packing List or a Day-by-Day Itinerary.
3. Fill in the trip details. The form is short and guided. Fields like destination offer suggestions as you type, and free text always works.
4. Review and generate. The final step shows a summary and the credit cost. Credits are only deducted when you confirm.
5. Download. Your document appears on screen and as a PDF. It is also saved to your dashboard history.

How long does it take?

Most documents are ready in a couple of minutes. If a generation ever fails, your credits are refunded automatically, so you are only charged for a result you actually receive.
